Cecilia Saenz, Santiago Canals and Yutaka Iwata created the Santiago de Cecilia workshop in Barcelona in 2003. Their work, based on traditional Spanish guitar making, has gained renowned over the years. The aesthetics (rosette, head, nets) is of a beautiful creativity and the lutherie work is meticulous.
Soundwise it is a powerful, homogeneous and expressive instrument. The notes are reactive, rich and colourful. A beautiful concert guitar, powerful, with an impulsive and singular character.
