Rolf Eichinger was born in 1944 in Stuttgart. He started out as a school of industrial design. A good guitarist, he worked as a guitar teacher at the Stuttgart Music School for several years. During long journeys and stays in Andalusia he learned the language and became friends with luthiers such as Antonio Marin Montero or Jose Lopez Bellido. In 1978, he opened "Die Zupfgeige" in Karlruhe, which quickly became one of the main Spanish guitar shops in Europe. It is there that he created his first workshop, which will also be a place of discovery and training for Spanish lutherie enthusiasts. His guitars are built in the tradition of the great Andalusian masters. Died in 2009, Rolf Eichinger will have built about 300 instruments.
This guitar, built in 1995, combines great sound power with a remarkable richness of timbre. It is well balanced, the notes are precise and flexible. Its sound presence gives it a reactivity and spontaneity that make it pleasant and easy to play.
