Masaki Sakurai is the nephew of one of the great Japanese guitar maker, Masaru Kohno. He was trained in guitar making by Kohno. Although influenced by his uncle, Sakurai has given his guitars their own identity.
This guitar is a "Concert J" model. We find the sound qualities that made the reputation of this luthier. The notes are clear, dense and well timed. A great opportunity at this price for this solid and performing instrument.
