This beautiful guitar signed by Marco Bortolozzo is a replica of the Torres FE09, one of the first guitars made by Antonio de Torres (1859). It’s also called the “Llobet model”, since Miguel Llobet owned one (which can be seen it at the Music Museum in Barcelona).
With its flamed maple, its beautiful rosette inlaid with cypress, maple and mahogany among others, the lovely grain of the table, its purflings, it is an utterly refined and elegant instrument.
It sounds as beautiful as it looks. The bass is deep and percussive, the trebles powerful, responsive, expressive and smooth. It’s also very vibrant because of its lightness.
A remarkable guitar, both easy and pleasant to play.
