Kazuo Sato is born in Tokyo in 1946, he begin to learn lutherie in 1965 with luthier Kuniharu Nobe. He moved to England in 1971 where he built guitars in the David Rubio workshop, stamping his initials "KS" on the internal heel above the label. In 1974 he installed his own workshop in Hekelgem (Belgium), in 1976 he moved to Saarlouis (Germany) where he remains to this day.
Its aesthetics is sober and elegant. In terms of sound, it is a powerful, responsive and well-balanced instrument. The bass is deep and the treble is clear and expressive. The sound is round and generous. Its flexibility and fast response make it a comfortable and enjoyable instrument to play.
