José Ramirez II took over from his father when he died in 1923. Marcelino Barbero or Manuel Rodriguez were among the apprentices in the Ramirez workshop at the time.

 

This guitar was made of spruce and pearwood for the sides and back.

 

Its basses are ample and deep, its trebles soft and singing endowing it with a lyrical and moving musicality.
