We are very pleased to present an instrument by this exceptional French luthier.
Jean-Noël Rohé lives and works in Strasbourg. His training and work are in line with the most prestigious tradition of French guitar making (Daniel Friederich, Dominique Field). Jean-Noël Rohé's talent very quickly enabled him to assimilate and make the most of all the musical riches associated with this heritage. In spite of his young age, he is now recognized worldwide as one of the great names in today’s lutherie.
This guitar was built in 2012, and it has been checked by the luthier himself (varnish, adjustments etc.)
The aesthetics and the craftsmanship are exquisite. With its quite remarkable sound and musical qualities, this instrument reaches a perfect compromise between a great sound presence and a poetic depth : it allows the musician an expressive potential that is both broad and subtle.
Once you've heard this guitar and tried it, you no longer wonder why Jean-Noël Rohé gained such a high reputation and why so many players swear by his instruments.
