The "Liuteria Fratelli Lodi" was created in the early 1970s by the two brothers: Léandro and Maurizio Lodi. Gabriele, Maurizio's son, started at a very young age to work in the family workshop. With restoration a specialty of theirs, they have acquired an impressive know-how based on the analysis of romantic guitars and historical instruments. With such a wealth of experience, the family name has made its mark in the top rung of lutherie.
This amazing guitar is a copy of a 1922 Enrique Garcia model.
It is a remarkable instrument as much on account of its aesthetic beauty (choice of woods, rosette and purflings ornementation) as of its timbre and musicality.
Gabriele Lodi perfectly succeeds in restoring the spirit of Enrique Garcia's guitars : the basses are heavy and deep, the trebles dense, colorful and expressive.
