Fernando Mazza was born in Argentina. After studying guitar at the Alberto Ginastera Conservatory in Buenos Aires, he first made a name for himself as a concertist. He then focused on his true passion: lutherie. He settled in Arezzo, Italy, where he builds guitars that meet his criteria as a guitarist. He builds instruments that combine the powerful sound of modern construction with the timbre of traditional guitars. Fernando Mazza's guitars are played by many concert performers, and he has gained international renown.
This guitar with a spruce top was built in 2022. The back and sides are made of Santos rosewood laminated with balsa wood, with an aperture on the side that can be partially closed. Its
lattice bracing, inspired by Australian guitars, gives it great sound power. The notes are clear, expressive, and responsive, with good dynamics and sustain. This is a
high-performance concert guitar that is well worth discovering for those who are not familiar with this luthier's work.
