This beautiful Douglas Sharpe guitar stands out on aesthetic as well as sound considerations. Its wide rosette reminds you of some Torres (SE153). The delicacy of the head pattern testifies to the luthier’s craftsmanship.
This guitar has a sweet and captivating musicality that makes it both very engaging and pleasant to play.
We feel quite lucky to be able to display this guitar, since all those who have had an opportunity to play or listen to one of Douglas Sharpe’s instruments express their admiration. And yet there is little information to be found about this luthier and very few of his guitars are available.
Last thing to say about Douglas Sharpe : where he lives there is no electricity.
