"Domingo Esteso's flamenco guitars are true legendary guitars. His nephews and grandnephews are continue the tradition under the name "Conde Hermanos, sobrinos de Domingo Esteso".
This guitar belonged to a saga of "guitarreros" from Zaragoza, the Jiménez, it had been part of the family for 80 years.
It was restored in 2007 by Francisco Manuel Díaz (Granada), two years before it was added to my collection, and revised in 2015 by Fritz Ober (Munich).
The sound of this guitar is difficult to describe, I had never heard such "cavernous" basses and such percussive trebles. We hold in our arms the soul of flamenco". (Alberto Martinez - February 2019)
