Daniel Lago Nuñez was born in a village near Pontevedra in Spain (Vigo area) in 1890. He emigrated to Argentina and settled in Buenos Aires in 1911.
His construction approach owes much to the early Barcelona school, Enrique Garcia and Francisco Simplicio, for the construction and the detailing features such as the purflings and the rosette with its exquisite pattern.
This superb guitar, restaured by the famous italian luthier Paulo Coriani, has preserved a timbre of exceptional beauty and charm.
