Daniel Lago Nuñez was born in a village near Pontevedra, Spain (in the Vigo region) in 1890; he emigrated to Buenos Aires in 1911 to join his uncle, Francisco Nuñez, founder of Casa Nuñez. His work remained faithful to the original Barcelona tradition. Indeed, his guitars feature sounds similar to those of the early 20th century; this is certainly true for this one, whose sound possesses a charm and a beautiful timbre.
