Pierre-Alexandre Bellest is a young luthier who lives and works in Norville (Normandie). He first studied at the Newark school of classical guitar making ; after graduation, he studied at the Civica Scuola di Liuteria in Milan. The quality of his work has grown rapidly as his guitars have become internationally known, which has had a significant effect on his waiting list.
Only the finest tone woods were used and the overall aesthetic is beautiful and refined. Soundwise, it's a powerful and homogeneous instrument. The notes are full, singing, mellow, flexible and colorful. The timbre is woody with a lyrical musicality. The response combines softness and reactivity, making it easy and pleasant to play. A high-quality instrument.
