In a previous life Andrea Stanzione was an electrician... He also graduated from the lutherie school of Milan. He began his activity as a guitar maker with restorations and started to build instruments, combining this activity with that of a carpenter. In 2009, "in the middle of the journey of his life" (as he writes himself), he meets Enrico Bottelli, who will change the course of things. They will work together for four years, during which time he will learn and work with excellence. After other detours in life, Stanzione decided to make lutherie his profession, his workshop is located in the Villapizzone district of Milan.
This guitar is a marvel, both aesthetically and sonically. The woods are of the highest quality, with a very dark Indian rosewood for the back and sides. The craftsmanship is breathtaking, as is the finesse of the rosette motifs and the purfling on the top edge, the three-part back and the sides. The timbre is deep, woody, gravely and very expressive. Notes are round, vibrant and responsive. An exceptional instrument, both visually and sonically, demonstrating the talent of this luthier.
