Teodoro Perez was born in the province of Soria in 1952. In 1966 he moved to Madrid, where he began his apprenticeship/training in the José Ramirez III workshop. In 1991 he set up his own workshop.
The «Maestro» model is entirely French-polishedwith choicest woods. This instrument strikes first by its aesthetic beauty. The rosette in shades of green, the bridge and the purflings, all remarkably made, set off the handsome spruce used for the top and the Madagascar rosewood.
The sound qualities are in the pure Madrid tradition at its best. Deep bass and clear and colorful trebles give this instrument a moving and very beautiful musicality. It is both easy and pleasant to play, which is characteristic of the guitars built in the Pérez workshop.
