Teodoro Perez was born in the province of Soria in 1952. In 1966, he moved to Madrid, where he began his apprenticeship/training in the José Ramirez III workshop. In 1991, he set up his own workshop. The "Maestro" model is entirely French-polished with choicest woods. This instrument strikes first by its aesthetic beauty. The rosette in shades of green, the bridge and the purflings, all remarkably made, set off the handsome spruce used for the top and the Madagascar rosewood. This superb craftsmanship, perfectly realized, shows all the knowledge and experience of the Madrid luthier.
The sound qualities are in the pure Madrid tradition at its best. This is a beautiful, powerful and homogeneous concert instrument. Deep bass and clear and colorful trebles give this instrument a lyrical and very beautiful musicality.
