Rafael Galan was born in Málaga in 1888. Together with his brother Juan, he was trained by the Málaga luthier Antonio de Lorca Piño. In 1906 the two brothers moved to Buenos Aires. Rafael Galan began building his own guitars in 1908.

The choice of tone woods and the finishing details place this guitar in the top range of the instruments built by this luthier.

Its aesthetics is gorgeous, and its tone quality matches its beauty. The timbre is both deep and singing. An impressive instrument which also boasts the soulfulness of old guitars.
