Pierre-Alexandre Bellest is a young luthier who lives and works in Caudebec-en-Caux. He first studied at the Newark school of classical guitar making ; after graduation, he studied at the Civica Scuola di Liuteria in Milan. The quality of his work has grown rapidly as his guitars have become internationally known, which has had a significant effect on his waiting list.
This is a superb guitar. Only the finest tone woods were used and the overall aesthetic is beautiful and refined. It is a powerful and well-balanced instrument. The notes are full, singing, mellow, flexible, colorful, with a beautiful lyrical tone and rich in harmonics. The response combines both flexibility and responsiveness, making it easy and pleasant to play. A remarkable and high quality instrument.
