Christian Arley was born in 1955 in Mercedes, Buenos Aires province (Argentina). During his adolescence, he began his guitar studies with Armano Gervini, which he continued with Tzvetan Saveb, Abel Carlevaro, Miguel Angel Girollet and Eduardo Isaac. As a guitarist, he always favours the search for sound quality and is interested in the construction characteristics of the instrument with an affinity for the French school of lutheríe (Dominique Field, Daniel Friederich). He built his first guitar under the direction of the Argentinian luthier Fernando Mazza and from then on began to learn how to make instruments on his own, where, through his own techniques, he sought to capture in his instrument his ideal sound, construction quality and balance.
